Classroom Financial Literacy with a Classroom Economy

Help me give my students meaningful financial literacy with incentives to help them retain their knowledge.

My Project

Students in my class learn the importance of financial literacy. They will create a resume, apply for jobs, pay taxes and get paychecks. Twice a month, they are able to purchase items from the classroom economy. The items range from snacks, to school supplies and even time with their favorite teachers. The students have learned that they need to save for things that they deem important and they really want.

It means so much to be able to provide this experience for the students so that they can apply the lessons in their lives as they mature.
