Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am looking to update my classroom carpet with a new larger one to fit all my students comfortably. On average I have 25-30 students each year. This space is used throughout the day to support and guide students with their academic, social, and emotional needs.
I call it our family room, a space for everyone to feel connected in our classroom community.
Students love to come together to listen and share stories as well as work cooperatively. This would be a wonderful new update to our first grade classroom.
