Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are bright, curious, and full of energy. They come to school ready to learn, explore, and grow each day. What I love most about them is their creativity, resilience, and willingness to try new things—even when learning feels challenging. They inspire me to bring my best every day.
Many of my students rely on school for more than just academics.
Basic supplies like pencils, notebooks, crayons, and tissues help create a learning environment where they feel prepared, included, and cared for. These materials support everything from writing stories and solving math problems to staying clean and healthy—especially during flu season, when items like tissues and hand sanitizer disappear quickly.
Unfortunately, classroom supplies run out fast, and replacing them regularly can be difficult. I want to ensure that my students never go without the tools they need, and that families never feel burdened to contribute more than they can. By providing these essentials, you’re helping students focus on what matters most: learning, creating, and building confidence.
