Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I absolutely love how hardworking, creative, and enthusiastic my students are about learning Spanish. They come to class ready to engage, collaborate, and challenge themselves every day.
The resources I’m requesting will play a vital role in supporting their learning.
The headphones will allow my students to practice and improve their Spanish pronunciation by recording dialogues and listening to their progress. This activity builds confidence and enhances their speaking skills in a fun and interactive way.
I’m also requesting a small coffee table to organize the spare computers I keep in my classroom. These extra computers are always available for students who may have forgotten theirs, ensuring no one falls behind due to a lack of resources.
Lastly, the board games will add an element of fun to our classroom. We occasionally set aside time to play games that reinforce vocabulary and grammar concepts while building teamwork and communication skills.
My goal is to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, practicing their language skills, and building connections with each other.
