it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items I’m requesting, such as snacks, cleaning supplies, and sensory reward toys, will create a more nurturing and supportive learning environment for my first-grade students. Snacks help keep their energy levels up, ensuring they stay focused and engaged throughout the day, especially since many of my students come to school without breakfast. Cleaning supplies are essential to maintain a healthy, hygienic classroom space where students feel safe to explore and learn. Sensory reward toys will serve as a positive reinforcement tool, helping my students self-regulate, manage emotions, and focus better during lessons. These items are crucial for creating a comfortable classroom that supports both their academic growth and emotional well-being.
My main goal is to ensure that my students have access to the necessities that will allow them to thrive.
By providing snacks, I hope to alleviate the distraction of hunger so students can concentrate on their learning. The cleaning supplies will help us maintain a clean and welcoming classroom, reducing the risk of illness and ensuring students can be present in school consistently. The sensory reward toys will motivate students to achieve their personal best while also supporting those who may need extra assistance with focus and self-regulation. Overall, my goal is to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued, supported, and ready to learn.
