Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This school year I started fresh in a new grade and new classroom. This project is filled with essential items that my students need throughout the school year.
Items such as ink cartridges, hand soap, reward candy, and calendars are essential for smooth daily functioning throughout my classroom.
These are items that my students need to use throughout the school year.
I have included candy in the project because my students often express that they are hungry and require a pick-me-up to get them through the long morning until our late lunch period. These items will be used for positive reinforcement for good behavior and work ethic. These items will be put to immediate use upon receiving them and will hopefully last for at least the first few months of school.
I have also included feminine care products in this project because the girls require these items often and I want to make sure they have what they need when they need it and can feel comfortable in school.
Funding this project will come with great excitement as I know it will help me provide my students and classroom with what they need for daily functioning.
