My Project
I love being able to give my students their very own school supplies to use all year! Instead of them having to share pencils, glue sticks, markers, etc. they know right where their supplies are and can keep them all nicely in their own pencil box! They get to excited and can't believe the supplies given to them are theirs to keep.
I want my 2nd graders to feel successful and that they matter by giving them their own set of school supplies to keep in their very own pencil box and use throughout the year!
I work in a Title I school, so many of my families can not afford to buy their child school supplies and I don't have enough school funds to buy everyone their own supplies either. This project helps my students use the everyday essentials to complete our work and learn how to be responsible for their things.
