This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are part of the fragile community in a semi-self contained environment at a therapeutic base school. My students range from 6-12 grades. To relax or calm down, they enjoy playing with sensory goodies like playdoh, pop-it, kinesthetic sand, and other sensory objects. My students are very bright and talented. To help them excel academically, they are in need of manipulatives and other items that would make understanding math concepts easy.
My Project
The materials included in this project will help keep our classroom clean, fun and engaging, and lovely. With the items in this project, our classroom will continue to be a safe and clean space where we will have the necessary items to wipe away germs and kill everyday bacterias. These essential items, like hand sanitizers and wipes, will help us to combat the COVID-19 virus. Additionally, a label maker and labels, paper, scissors, bulletin board paper will help our class remain a fun and engaging place where students want to be in and are happy to come into. Some items in this project will go towards decorating our classroom, showcasing students' work beautifully on our bulletin board, and for classroom visitors to see. Your donation to our classroom will be greatly appreciated and used daily by our energetic students.
