My Students
My class consists of nearly 95% of scholars who are reading below grade level. Many of my students come from homes in which the parents are uneducated themselves.
Our school is a Title I school that offers free and reduced-price lunches to 100% of our students.
School lunch is the only meal many of our students receive during the day. Our school is in a critical state. We are a part of the lowest 300 schools in terms of reading proficiency.
My Project
Classroom essentials will help my students have the supplies they need for learning. We are in the final stretch and ready to end the year with a bang! Having the necessary classroom supplies will make our journey a little easier.
Writing tools and other classroom essentials are needed to complete daily classroom tasks.
Having working headphones makes learning on the computer easier when you can hear without disturbing others. My goal is to erase the worries of students not being prepared or having essential supplies needed for class on a daily basis.
