This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Imagine walking into a classroom ready to learn, only to find that basic supplies—like pencils, glue sticks, and tissues—are missing. For many of my students, this is their reality. My class is full of bright, eager learners, but most come from low-income families who are unable to provide the necessary materials for school.
I am requesting essential classroom supplies to create an environment where students can focus on learning instead of worrying about having a pencil to write with or a tissue when they’re sick.
Items like construction paper, dry erase markers, privacy folders, and clipboards will help keep our lessons engaging and organized. Band-aids and tissues will ensure that small needs don’t become big distractions.
These supplies may seem simple, but they make a world of difference. With your help, my students will have the tools they need to succeed, feel confident, and stay focused to finish the school year strong.
