My Project
Essential materials seem to always disappear in the classroom. Support me by ensuring my classroom is always equipped with markers, pencils, and diverse books. I work with a diverse group of students and hope to have different materials from which they will not only learn but also identify with. Growing up I rarely saw anyone who looked like me around the classroom. I want to make sure my students get a different experience, one where they see themselves reflected not only in the curriculum but in the materials that they will find around the classroom. Pencils and markers give purpose; representation gives us the drive to pursue our dreams!
