My Project
Learning to read, write and play music requires multiple modalities and approaches to be successful. Having dry erase boards where students can explore creating rhythms and melodies freely opens up a world of music making and self expression.
These classroom essentials may not be exciting in and of themselves, but they are the portal through which rich creativity pours forth.
After two decades as a music educator, I am setting up a program in a new school and want to give my 3K-8 students a strong foundation for success. These simple tools will give them the power to communicate their own musical ideas in an environment free from the fear of making mistakes.
