This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials chosen for this project include materials for the next school year. My class is a Kindergarten Dual Language (Spanish-English) where instruction is 80% in Spanish and 20% in English. This program services the hispanic community primarily and offers them a a valuable opportunity to learn in two languages. A priceless skill that will open many doors in their future. The accessories will help decorate and remind students of their strength, in their primary language. The remaining materials are everyday essentials for student learning centers and student everyday hygiene.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
