Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are hitting the halfway mark and my students are running out of their essential school supplies. Our Functional Living Skills class utilizes a lot of sheet protectors, whiteboard markers, and folders to review what we are currently learning in math and English.
For English, we are doing writing, phonics, and reading comprehension.
In order to practice, my students have their own packets with CVC worksheets in sheet protectors. They use whiteboard markers to write their answers. We do the same for math. We start with warmups which involve math problems in sheet protectors.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
