Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project includes materials to help support student learning in my classroom. I keep a container filled with pencils at my door. Students that need a pencil can take one as they enter my room. We resharpen pencils and will use the eraser caps to top pencils that no longer have an eraser. I use clorox wipes to clean desks between classes and at the end of the day. The Ring Pops, Oreo Minis, Takis, water bottles, Pokemon cards, Vero Mango lollipops, and Sweet Pops will be used in my PBIS store, Positive Behavior and Intervention System. Our school is using PBIS to recognize students that demonstrate positive behaviors. Students get points for exhibiting positive behaviors and can use the points to purchase prizes. The Expo markers will be used for the white board in my classroom.
