Help me give my students the best education with as many resources as possible. i teach math and science, the more manipulative i can offer them, the better they'll learn.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
This is my 5th year teaching second grade. This is a year where the students are becoming very independent but still need that safety net. My students come in my classroom every day excited to learn. They are eager to do well and are always on their A-Game, these children deserve every resource and help they can get to help them excel in their education. They have the potential to become whatever they want to and we can get them there by instilling the love for learning at a young age.
My Project
My students' learning is my top priority. They learn better with as much resources we can offer them. I'm asking for these classroom manipulative and supplies to aid in the essential learning that takes place in my classroom. We have a unit on 3-dimensional shapes and for them to be able to have the 3D shapes in front of them will be amazing, they will be able to physically count the sides, faces and verticies of each shape. I also teach about texture and shape in science, so the rocks and minerals kit would be perfect for them to be able to touch and describe what they see and feel. The supplies on the list will also go towards their education by being easily accessible for them when needed.
