My Students

My fifth grade students are amazing. They come to school everyday ready to learn and willing to work hard. My class is made up of students with many different needs, including students with special needs, limited language acquisition, and high achievement.

My students work hard everyday to succeed.

We use many different strategies to achieve success, and many of these strategies have been made possible thanks to DonorsChoose.org. We have received furniture, chapter books, and technology from amazing donors.

We work hard all year long. Having needed resources helps my students become and stay successful.

My Project

Essential supplies help run a classroom. Items like glue sticks, pens, and highlighters might seem trivial to some people. However, to a student or teacher, these items are daily necessities!

I'm asking for generous donations to help supply pencils, pens, highlighters, white board markers, rulers, crayons, glue, cardstock, and extra copies of our novel studies.

We will use the pencils, pens, and highlighters on a daily basis. Students correct their work with pens. We annotate and take notes in our text with the highlighters. The rulers will be used for art and during math. The extra copies of the novel study will ensure that every student can follow along with what we are reading. Thank you so much for your consideration.
