Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This year I want to give my scholars a place where they feel like they are at home while in the classroom. With these decorations, I can beautify the classroom and make personal growth target boards where scholars can see their hard work being displayed throughout the year.

Flexible seating allows students to take charge of their learning and make the choices that work best for them.

During independent work times, they choose a location in the classroom that works for them. My students are noticeably more engaged in their work and less disruptive of their peers when they are given a choice of where to work.
