Classroom Economy

Help me give my students an engaging classroom economy experience by replenishing our store with motivating rewards that encourage financial literacy, responsibility, and positive behavior.

My Project

For the past five years, I have implemented a highly successful classroom economy system that fosters financial literacy, responsibility, and positive behavior in my third-grade classroom. Students earn classroom currency by completing jobs, displaying acts of kindness, excelling in assignments, and going above and beyond with extra credit work. They can then use their earned currency to purchase rewards from our classroom store. This program has proven to be an effective motivational tool, reinforcing good habits, academic effort, and personal growth. However, to maintain student enthusiasm, I need to replenish my classroom store with engaging and meaningful incentives.

My goals for this project are:

To continue promoting responsibility, financial literacy, and positive behavior in the classroom.

To provide students with tangible, motivating rewards that encourage participation in the classroom economy.

To create a learning environment where students are excited to work towards personal and academic achievements.
