This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Thank you for visiting our project! Here's a little bit about us. Our school is located in a high-needs, low-income area. There are 27 first-grade students in the classroom. All of the children are English Language Learners. Many of the students have Individualized Education Programs.
An easel is an essential part of the classroom.
It is used for both whole-class and small-group instruction. This easel is double-sided which is very helpful to prepare for more than one subject at a time. Classroom space is limited and this easel is on the smaller side, taking up less room than many others. It can be used to teach all subjects and will allow us to have a central visual space for lessons.
I am looking forward to using this easel in so many ways! In addition to teacher-created visuals, students will be able to come up and demonstrate their understanding of their peers, solve problems, and write sentences. We love that this easel is a perfect height for students.
