My Students
My first-grade class comes from a diverse background. They comprise of English Language Learners to students that need extra academic help to a group of super soaring students who are always ready for an extra challenge. My class of fun-loving firsties loves to do group work. Whether it is solving math problems together or describing the characters they are reading about. My little ones work best when they are building each other up. I see it building community in our classroom and helps to build confidence in the students.
My Project
Please help me with a dry erase easel for my Integrated Co-Teaching classroom. My class is composed of general education and special education students that may need more visuals to learn. My co teacher and I parallel teach. We only have 1 Promethean board that we share between the 2 of us. A classroom easel will allow one of us to teach our group on one side of the classroom while the other one uses the Promethean board. The large dry ease easel will also allow us to model and practice our skills with our little first grade students.
