Classroom Drama

Help me give my students dramatic play toys that will stimulate imaginative play and improve social skills. I am asking for a set of Lets Talk puppets that will help my student build their language and communication.

My Students

I teach special needs pre-school students, many with significant developmental delays and all have communication needs. My students are energetic, playful, and have a desire to learn. They need added support to learn and make progress on educational goals.

Preschool is a time explore, learn new environments, and learn to interact with peers.

It is also a time to explore different ways to express themselves and to communicate with others. We use many visual aids to assist with communication and learning.

We are a urban school consisting of primarily underprivileged families. We have great parent involvement and a supportive PTA but many parents cannot afford to provide other financial support.

My Project

I am looking to enhance the dramatic play area in my classroom. My students love tents and tunnels and I would love to get The Ultimate Fort Builder kit that will also help students with motor and social skills. I am also requesting a set of 'Lets Talk' puppets to encourage communication (all of my special needs students are language/communication delayed). They can also use the Baby Doll Blankets & Bottles for play activities.

Preschool is a time to learn through playing and it is important to encourage imagination and dramatic play.

I believe fort builder I am requesting will be very popular and will encourage my students to work cooperatively and communicate.
