Help me give my students some extra areas in the classroom to explore and play with materials, such as kitchen toys and books, and some place to relax when they need a break.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students would greatly benefit from having a kitchen table to play with in the dramatic play area in the classroom. They can use their imaginations and play with the kitchen items, play house and have an area to sit while doing so. The library would be a great area to display books and encourage literacy. The bean bags will give them extra places to sit and relax while they are reading a book or needing to take a break from activities.
These are essential areas to have in the classroom and allow the students to explore and learn new things.
I would love to have these areas in the classroom with these materials to support the learning of the students.
