Help me give my students the opportunity to connect with literature by providing real books during carpet time. My program is not able to provide copies of our weekly literature. We do have access to BenQ boards and try our best to trick the kids by turning volume down and pausing videos to “read.” There is not a replacement for showing a child a book and taking them on the adventure of storytelling. A book bought for a child is never wasted no matter how torn the corners become or soft the binding starts to wear. Being able to touch and hold these books up would be a magical experience for not only my students, but myself (the storyteller) as well!
