My Project

My goal when I was creating this project was to choose many new art materials including a variety of crayons, twistable crayons, washable markers, and glitter glue. The students will maintain the Art Center checking the centers after clean up.

The materials will be used for morning meeting, three Big Experiences, small group, and individual, child-led/chosen art projects.

We are getting to the point where my older students love to attempt writing words. I chose legal pads and folders for this project to begin working on creating an Art Portfolio for each child to take home and keep. The materials I chose will help create the take home portfolios, make child initiated art, and feel a sense of pride in their work…..while at the same time getting Kindergarten readiness skills introduced also.
