My favorite thing about my children is that they are all different and special in their own way and here lies the classroom conundrum! I love that they are curious and busy and they are full of energy and fruitful questions that are worth the extra effort! The best use of our time during the run a day is to spend instructional time in small groups because different children need different instruction. While not working with the teacher, the rest of the children need engaging learning materials and activities they can manage and learn from while working independently or with a partner. The children would use the Its a Snap Addition Center, Counting Cones, and Alphabet Learning Locks, along with the other activities in this project to practice the foundational skills children in kindergarten need to solidify in order to correctly apply their learning as they progress. My children will be taught how to use the materials and how to manage them on their own. The plastic trays will be used to manage the materials, such as providing a contained surface to roll dice in order to engage with the number and counting activities they've been taught.
