Classroom Comfort: Tissues for All!

Help me give my students tissues, sanitizer, and hand washing items to stay healthy during cold and flu season.

My Project

My students are resilient, creative, curious, funny, and hard-working 3-5 year-olds who attend Pre-K at a Washington, DC public school. Our full-time classroom is part of an elementary school in a neighborhood where most students are considered to be "at-risk", determined based on socioeconomic needs. My students have been diagnosed with autism or other communication related disabilities. Regardless of these labels, my students consistently prove what is possible with hard work and dedication.

In our classroom, learning is always the top priority, but sniffles, sneezes, and seasonal allergies can often disrupt the flow.

Attendance is critical for my students because they thrive with a structured and predictable routine. Please help me minimize sick days for students and classroom staff! With a steady supply of tissues, we can ensure all who work and play in our classroom feel comfortable and cared for throughout the day.

Tissues may seem like a small detail, but they play a big role in maintaining a clean and healthy learning environment. The requested pump dispensers will be used to keep hand sanitizer ready throughout the classroom and the lotion will be used to care for hands that are repeatedly washed throughout the day.
