This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These are important tools for my students with behavior issues and anxiety. Especially the use of the weighted lap pads are going to help my students increase time when students are focused and on task. The bean bag and floor cushions are to support the flexible seating needs of my students with disabilities. These will be used for small groups, games, and our calming center. By providing these resources I hope to decrease maladaptive behaviors by helping them calm down before they occur.
This of course will allow my students to earn incentives from our prize bin!
