Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The popcorn machine and the cotton candy machines will be used to enhance the transformation. Middle school students will be expected to teach elementary students reading strategies before the STAAR test. Students who are successful will be rewarding them with popcorn and cotton candy.
The table covers will be used to cover up the tables along with the circus decorations.
The goal for this project is to have students become more confident as they teach reading strategies to lower grades.
My students are special in ways that it is a very small school, one class per grade level. The majority of the students play all sports and are involved in Future Farmers of America (FFA) and show an animal. They are well-rounded students as they are expected to pass their classes to be involved in extracurricular activities.
