My Students

My students are part of a K - 12 school where over 40 percent of the students receive free or reduced lunches.

Our school excels at testing, despite the obstacles the students have overcome. We are rated as one of the top schools in the state on standardized tests, with our third graders performing far above the other students in the state.

Our students are proud of their achievements and ready to learn and lead as they move into the future.

My Project

We have one hour of computer lab time each week. With the way the world is today and its dependence on technology, it is vital that my students are educated in digital literacy. Having additional laptop computers in our classroom will provide that opportunity.

We will be able to become more familiar with using technology to supplement the things we are already learning.

Laptops will allow the opportunity for any student to work on a computer at his/her own desk or at a designated computer station, which allows flexibility and minimal distraction to others.

Licenses will allow me to control what the students can access and will keep our computers safe.
