This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
It's working! Test scores have gone up dramatically in our class this year because of the multi-sensory centers and small group activities that are engaging to young children. It takes a lot of time to organize the learning materials that are needed to provide children with an exciting, interactive, hands-on experience.
Young children need manipulatives and physical materials to help them visualize important math and reading concepts.
The rolling carts and paper trays in this project will help to organize the classroom materials and make them easily accessible for teachers and students while keeping the room clean and safe.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
