This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This classroom rug will help my students be able to participate in our whole group learning comfortably. Making my classroom feel comfortable it will allow students to come into the classroom and feel that they are in their second home. This would be special for my students because we are a Title 1 school and a lot of the students in my class do not have the needed resources they would benefit from a space where they feel comfortable and have a sense of belonging in our classroom family.
