This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom is missing a carpet. During pandemic, our class had to move furniture and equipments out of the room and our carpet was soiled. We've been missing carpet for almost 2 years now.
My students will safely sit during circle time, comfortably learn during their activities, and dance during music and movement time on this carpet.
This carpet will also provide an accent my classroom with comfy carpets that introduce colors & shapes! This carpet will give my students a concrete way to build color-recognition and shape-identification skills—as they sit on the yellow triangle, jump on the green square, rest on the red rectangle and more!
