This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our class would love to have a central meeting location with allows us to respect personal space but also promote community building. Our current meeting space does not have enough room for the class to sit comfortably and we often forego sitting on the carpet to avoid cramming.
Providing a comfortable environment in the classroom is so important!
I want students to think of the class as a home away from home. Having a functional and pleasant classroom is extremely critical to lessen distractions while promoting learning in a safe space.
