My Project
Sitting on a nice, clean classroom carpet makes kindergarten so much better. The students know their spot by which letter they are supposed to sit on. Students take books to their letter spot when finished win their work and can relax and read with a stuffed animal. A clean carpet will be a much more comfortable spot for us to sit and learn.
Kindergarten should be a fun, warm, cozy place to learn and with a clean classroom carpet, it can be!
With a classroom rug with many academic uses students will have a cozy place to sit while learning and enjoying the year.
I've had my current carpet for 12 years and have had great success in keeping it clean. However, this year, with the lack of custodian support in my school... a student who threw up, did not get cleaned in time, and unfortunately, stained my carpet. A nice friend let me borrow her carpet cleaner and it worked magic! I now need a cleaner and solution of my own to fix the carpet if this ever happens again, which being in kindergarten, we're bound to have spills, accidents, and other things, but in the past our custodian has always came to the rescue.
