My Project

My students have special needs and all learn using different modalities. They work hard to reach their individual goals alongside their typically developing peers. Sometimes, they require short sensory breaks to help them learn coping strategies so that they can re-focus and get back on task.

My students use nonverbal modes of communication, and some need assistance for mobility and fine motor activities.

Their journey to complete assignments may take longer or look differently, but they are successful given the tools they need to succeed! The classroom calming area will serve all my students well!
