I need financial literacy PD to bring the reality of money to life for my students by using ClassBank.com for a fully immersive classroom economy. This training and subscription allows that to happen!
I am seeking information about teaching financial literacy and good money-practices to elementary school students. I have found a helpful book to guide my instruction as well as the most engaging and informational website called ClassBank.com. By watching the instructional videos, and participating in the PD materials included in my subscription - I will be able to create a fully interactive and real-time classroom store for my students. As well as manage their weekly wages for class jobs, earn interest on savings, and even purchase items and rewards from the class store- including inventory oversight! This monthly subscription is necessary for me to be able to implement these practices seamlessly and successfully create a booming classroom economy that mimics realistic financial scenarios for students to experience first hand! By gaining this knowledge and having access to these online tools I am hoping to give my students a strong sense of finances and economics so they are able to make educated and informed financial decisions in their futures.
