My Project

As an 11th and 12th grade English teacher, I’m passionate about helping students discover the joy and power of literature. I’m launching a Book Club project designed to foster a love of reading through student choice, community, and meaningful discussion. With your support, students will be able to select a book from a thoughtfully curated list of diverse and engaging titles. Each week, they’ll gather in small groups—styled like a cozy café setting—to share snacks, pose their own discussion questions, and dive into authentic conversations about the stories they’re reading. This project aims to create a space where literature feels alive, relevant, and deeply personal. A donation toward purchasing books will help make this enriching experience accessible to all students, regardless of background!
