My Project

I work in a low-income district where our budget has been completely cut. Many families are struggling financially, and it is hard to give their children basic school materials.

Simple needs such as incentives, dry erase board, dry erasers and more will help my special education students succeed in my classroom.

The corkboard will serve as a space for student-led projects, goal tracking, or visual reminders (like class jobs or event calendars). Unfortunately, many students’ families cannot afford to buy supplies for their children.

My special education students learn best when they have hands-on activities. Students will write positive messages, notes of appreciation, or words of encouragement to classmates, teachers, and community members. These activities will help my students to build a sense of community and connection.
