Help me give my students and the new teachers that I coach some great classroom basics as they start out their teaching careers!

My Students

The students at my school are an amazing group of kids who are chomping at the bit to learn all they can. They are so excited to be at school. Our school, comprised of K-5 students, is focusing on having a growth mindset.

Our kids have really taken the growth mindset idea of "the power of yet" to heart.

They are hard workers and dedicated learners. Our students already understand that mistakes and failures are parts of learning and help us grow so they are not afraid to try in class! They welcome the challenges they're given because they understand that hard things help their brains grow and become smarter!

My Project

The materials I am requesting will help new teachers set up and organize their classrooms. A clean, organized classroom where everything has a place is more conducive to focused learning for students. The magazine holders will really help support this goal.

Many of these classroom materials will help the teacher give students opportunities to show what they know and what they can do.

When students interact with the whiteboards, they are using them as a manipulative to show their thinking and have the opportunity to respond to posed questions. The place value chart, pocket charts, and dry erase pockets will support teachers in their teaching and presentation of academic concepts. The bouncy band for desks will also be a great resource for new teachers if they have students who struggle to focus.
