Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are taught the values and skills necessary to succeed in a diverse and ever-changing global society. We strive to create an atmosphere of high expectations and joyful learning where students are encouraged to work together, take academic risks, think critically, and pursue successful careers and higher education. We strive to convey and instill in our students the knowledge and experiences they need to live happy, healthy, and productive lives. We work to be the best people we can be and make them successful adults.

My Project

These basic materials will allow my students to have what they need to be successful in school. They need pencils, paper, ink to print their assignments, highlighters, chart paper, hole puncher, and stapler.

My students are excited to learn, but often come to school without the supplies they so desperately need to succeed in school.

The stapler and hole punch will help my students stay organized. The chart paper and markers will be utilized for activities that involve movement around the classroom. The highlighters and pencils will be used for various close reading activities and just daily assignments. I know these supplies will make a world of difference in my students lives.
