This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love my students and I enjoy watching them grow. I create this project to ask my fellow community members to assist ensuring my student have all the supplies necessary to continue thriving this school year.
My students are passionate about their education and truly appreciate the thought and care that goes into creating their instructional resources.
As we are heading towards the end of the school year, the school classroom supplies that were once in great supply are starting to dwindle. Help me ensure that my students have these basic classroom supplies so that nothing stops my students from have access to their educational resources.
I am requesting the following resources be donated to my classroom:
Pencils: Even in this digital age, pencils are still a vital and often quick to dwindle school supply. Elementary aged students are still learning basic penmanship. Your donation will ensure that my students all have proper writing utensils that they will use daily as they annotate literary text and compose their own original writing pieces.
Astrobright Paper: My students love when I use astrobright paper to create assignments. Not only does this paper create more visually appealing assignments, research has shown certain colors have a calming effect on the mind.
HP 962XL Ink Cartridge: I create tons of instructional materials using my personal printer. My students love having something physical to use as they complete their assignments. Your donation will ensure I continue to have enough ink to ensure my students continue to have access to high quality instructional materials through the remainder of the school year.
