Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our goal for this project is to provide our Pre-K students with basic classroom materials in which they utilize daily. Currently, we are a little more than half-way through the school year and our supplies are running low. Our students enjoy coloring with markers and crayons and use colored tape to decorate their drawings and designs.
Providing crayons, markers, tape, and paper in a variety of colors allows the students to make independent choices when creating their works of art.
These materials can be utilized during many of our daily activities such as directed drawings, art area, and small group time.
More than half of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
