Class without Mahjong is like Chinese Language Class without Culture

Help me give my students Mahjong sets because Mahjong is the most popular board game in China, where everyone will play it with their friends and so it is part of our Culture class in my Dual Language Chinese!!

My Project

Culture section is a significant part in foreign language learning. In fact, it is like a soul to the language itself. So that's why the AP Chinese test is called Chinese language and culture exam. Mahjong is a extremely popular board game that people in China will play with their family members, friends in their free time or during Chinese new year season. So learning how to play Mahjong is very helpful to my AP Chinese students to prepare their AP exam.

Secondly, Mahjong is fun and interests is always the best teacher.

Learning Mahjong will not only help them learn Chinese words, Chinese culture, but also keeps the class fun, which is essential for my Dual Language Program students who has been learning Chinese since first grade.
