My Project

As the librarian at our academic recovery school, I'm a big believer in the power of manga, or Japanese comics. So many of our students love reading this format and eagerly devour manga titles!

Starting in February, I'm also teaching a reading enrichment class for our students who need instruction to extend what they are studying in their regular classes.

My new students have told me they want to read manga and I would love to provide them with enough titles for us to read several series together as a class. With these titles, we'll do independent reading, group discussion, and even reader's theatre!
