This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Sometimes, it is tough to motivate 6th graders, but I have found that providing them with a class store with fun options gets them excited to participate in class. They earn class dollars with good behavior, participating, and by being good examples to their peers.

These treats will help us start off the year with an exciting restock of items so they will be excited and interested in participating in class.

I would love to provide them with these items. Most of them do not have access to such items in their everyday lives, so it is a lot of fun to watch them earn items and then use/wear them to school.
