My Project

One of my favorite novels we read as a class is the book Because of Mr. Terupt by Rob Buyea. It is about a 5th grade classes year in school where they deal with problems that are typical of a 5th grader. Students make such great connections, learn valuable lessons, and most important enjoy reading this book.

This year I would love to have a class set of this book so each student can have the ability to go back into the text and reread or pull quotes from a section of their book.

I have found that this helps with student engagement, comprehension, and overall enjoyment.
