Class set of Read Alouds for Gifted Intermediate Students
Help me give my students physical copies of the books we study as part of our Transformations in Stories and Arguments curriculum. Currently, we watch read alouds as we don't have physical copies of these texts.

My Project
This year our gifted curriculum is based on Vanderbilt University's Programs for Talented Youth book, "Transformations in Stories and Arguments." Over the course of the year, students closely examine various components of stories and have a culminating task of creating their own story that incorporates all the pieces we have studied during the year.
Currently, we own two of the 19 stories that are read alouds and closely examined for story elements in the unit - please help me change this so we have a physical copy of each book and in some instances, multiple books for students to review closely.
Students benefit from the opportunity to hold the books in their hands and from being able to point to and cite specific examples. For instance, when we studied characters and obstacles, students had three read alouds to choose from to closely examine in groups. I provided links to these read alouds, however, many students struggled with the technology, and some had trouble remembering or identifying elements without the book in front of them for reference. I know this would be a much more enriching and thought-provoking exercise with physical books in hand.
