Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 6th grade class will be reading Wonder by R.J. Palacio soon and we don't have enough books for every student. This book teaches students about the importance of confronting differences with kindness.It helps us realize that a small, simple act of kindness can make a big difference, and we have the ability to choose kind.
Letting every student have their own book while they are in our classroom is so important to increase accessibility.
Our school will use these books hopefully for years to come. Thank you in advance!
