My Students

Do you remember what it is like to get totally absorbed in a book? My students need this book to help them experience a beloved classic.

My students are hard working, eager to learn 3rd grade students from a range of socioeconomic backgrounds.

They are highly motivated to read novels that peak their interest. They enjoy reading chapter books together and discussing the chapters they have read.

My Project

Once we receive our class set of books, we will be able to read the novel, engage in lively book discussions, and create hands on book projects. Currently, our classroom library does not have a full set of chapter books for each student in the class. So, I am presently unable to hold book discussions with the entire class.

We are excited to be able to read our first book as a class. In the past, we have only been able to read books in small groups due to the lack of copies of books. With your help, we will be able to read our first novel as a class!
